If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Good day for a wedding?
« on: July 24, 2013, 04:23:00 pm »
Hello everyone!

I'm not engaged yet, but it's coming any day now. lol I wanted to get some ideas down before my boyfriend tries to dip his toe into it! He tends to think that he has to be in charge of everything or he's not a man. lol I gotta be one step ahead of him! So I've been looking into some things and was curious if you guys could help me.

I want an outdoor wedding, preferably an evening/night ceremony because I think it's beautiful. But I want the day we get married on to mean something (I'm sappy like that). It won't have to mean anything to him, I probably won't even tell him if it means something (he's not 100% behind me being Pagan). I'm just curious if there is a holiday or time of year or moon phase that symbolizes new beginnings. I think it'd be fun to start the next chapter of my life on a day like that. :)

Any ideas?

What holiday do you celebrate as the new year? Samhain? January 1? Imbolc? Chinese New Year? Knowing that will help, I think. Any of those would be a nice day for a white wedding.

My beau asked me to be his girlfriend on Beltaine Eve (April 30th), and that's the day we plan on getting married when we eventually have the money. I'm not as big in the WotY as I used to be, but it's still an important day to us.
