If it helps anyone to help me, these are some of my core beliefs:

*Every living thing has a soul.
*I believe in many Gods and Goddesses.
*I'm very interested in Divination, particularly Oracle Cards and Runes.
*I believe in environmentalism and preserving the earth and it's environment.
*I wish to venerate my ancestors.
*Politically, I guess you could call me a Libertarian with Conservative leanings.

I must mention that I am not interested in practicing witchcraft or learning magic. It just does not appeal to me. I would rather remain solitary, at this stage I am not too comfortable worshiping in a group and would like to keep my spirituality private.

Could anybody give me some advice on what kind or path within Paganism may suit me best? I am feeling really lost.

It's hard to find one's niche!  I've found a home with Celtic Shamanism but I throw in elements from hedge witchery and feminism.

Have you read any of Robert Moss' books or worked with dreams?

There are so many angles to take without having to define oneself.  For instance, if you wish to venerate your ancestors can you start by researching them more?  What about some of the methods of core shamanism to contact them (either journeying, guided meditation, or dream work?)  What about starting with a couple books on the Runes (Diana Paxson has a good one) and work through that slowly to develop a relationship with them and to learn a divination technique that works for you?  I have a friend with Finnish ancestry who is working on her own path based on those ancestors, and has found great joy in working that way.

I've found that as a former Christian sometimes I have to fight this urge to strictly define myself and my spiritual path, for it to be a "definite", and I don't know if that comes from the concept of being saved and in a particular path.  Are you comfortable with being eclectic, or does that bother you?

So many things to consider.  I'm just throwing ideas and questions your way in the hopes that it might assist you in your process.  Best of luck!!!

I too have found it difficult finding my own path.  I have spent hours reading websites, books and magazines and much of it has either not helped or just confuzed me more.  I like to ask why or how or what when i learn things.  you cant do that with a book like you can with a person!  i shall just continue to stumble blindly along, hoping to find my way.  I hope that you too get the answers you are looking for x

Situations like yours are where forums such as TC really come in to their own. There is no need to 'stumble blindly along' when you belong to a place like this one. If you read something that confuses you, or leaves you with questions, start a thread here and I guarantee you will receive help and advise from at least one person (probably lots more). :)
