Every Journey Has Adventures

Looking through all of these threads, I find that I enjoy reading all of the different - and sometimes very similar - ways we have all found ourselves at this point. When I was younger, I was angry about all of this. I was filled with so much hurt, anger, hatred, I couldn't function. I was good at playing my part, but I was destroying myself on the inside.

I wondered what it would look like when I stopped feeling that way. Funny thing, I stopped long before I realized I had. It felt so good to not be full of such poison anymore, I forgot to worry about being so angry. I still have fear. I worry that I am trying too hard too fast or that I am not trying hard enough. Then I remember, I am trying and practicing. That is what it's all about.

I am not perfect, and I see no reason I where would be, but it is nice to finally be in a space where I feel myself, where I feel content. We all need that peace. I hope we all find it.

I am at the beginnings of my path towards a better understanding of Celtic hearth culture. I am predominately Welsh and then Irish, but the Welsh Deities were not calling me and Bride was. I have much to learn and experience, and I look forward to all of it.

I just started the ADF Dedicant Programm and feel confident that this is going to help me ingrain ritual practice into my life as well as help me focus on me and how I can develop myself to be more.

I look forward to discussions with all of you as I make this journey.
