Death Anxieties/Wondering if I keep getting drawn back to paganism for a reason

There here and now on this earth is neither dull, or terrefying.

Thats like willfully stepping into the jaws of a monster.
Plus my ancestors where cruel and evil so thats not an option for me.
And i hate my life.......

There are other types of ancestors that are not biological (or adoptive) ones.

Most of the ancestor work I do is with ancestors of place. that is people who lived in the community I do before me, and ancestors of spirit, people who had things in common with me such as poets, queer people, feminists

I do work with some, but not all,  of my biological ancestors, and I choose not to work with any of my adoptive ancestors

For my part, I thought Jake's thoughts on making what you can of your life and its works was very lovely. The mark we leave on the world through what we do is something we should all consider from time to time.

So get working on strengthening your etheric body or whatever in order to survive the second death. Or whatever it is you do in your personal belief structure.

I classify spirits as something different from ghosts, so I was only referring to dead people. Also I was joking.

I don't see any of the work I do as being others servant

I don't think of myself as a cog in a machine but I do see myself as being part of a larger organism with the community work i do, but being part of that is just as beneficial to me as it is to others. (Thats how healthy communities work)

I don't think the gods had much to do with it to be honest, it is what it is
