* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Trust me. Your parents love you; they'll get over it. Since you're young, they'll probably throw out the "oh, it's just a phase" crap, but that's not the end of the world. They'll get over that too.

Eh, I really don't think that's the best approach here. There are lots of parents who come around, either quickly or eventually, when their kids drop this kind of information on them. But there are just as many kids who get burned - abused, kicked out, etc. I'm really glad you had a good experience coming out to your mom, but this can be dangerous advice to just throw out to strangers, even if they seem to/have had a good relationship with their parents in the past.

I do want to tell them since this is my belief and I do not want to seem offensive in any way in this thread but would like some advice on what you would do in my situation if all of your family were against Paganism and you were Christian Pagan.

Brit, I don't mean to scare you away from telling your parents if that's what you want to do. But if I were in your situation, I wouldn't tell them straight away. Can you try to gauge their reaction first? Maybe bring up the idea of paganism and see what they say about it. Something like, "Oh, I read this interesting book where a character was pagan," or, "Meditating seems really cool and I want to try it," (if that's true for you, of course). Then, if they seem positive about it, I would go ahead and tell them.

If they're against it like you say they might be, I say keep it a secret. It's important to be yourself, but it's more important to have a house to live in and food to eat. I don't mean to presume what your home life is like, and I know how important it is for some people to have an open and honest relationship with their parents. But the most important thing is to do what's best for you and to keep yourself safe.

I hope some of the advice in this thread can help you. Good luck!
