I am looking for cleansing rituals that can be used for houses and tarot cards, but they have to be ones that do not include smoke or incense of any kind. Everyone in my house has sensitive noses, allergies, and asthma, not to mention there's a puppy and a baby in the house right now. Any suggestions or resources I could look to? Also, any suggestions on talking to house spirits? I have the ghosts of family members in the house and I get the feeling they don't like that I'm not a Christian anymore. Not to mention they seem to occasionally scare my nephew, who is the baby I mentioned above. Please and thank you!

Dampen a towel with some vinegar and snap it around the room. Its a cleaning trick to rid the house of smells like tobacco and onions and should work for cleansing/freshening the spiritual atmosphere as well.
The pace of progress in artificial intelligence (I’m not referring to narrow AI) is incredibly fast. [...] The risk of something seriously dangerous happening is in the five year timeframe. 10 years at most.--Elon Musk

I am in the camp that is concerned about super intelligence," [Bill] Gates wrote. "First the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that though the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don\'t understand why some people are not concerned."

Well, my gut instinct is to say that if your house is being disrupted by deceased family that don't appreciate you being a practicing non-Christian, then trying to get "rid" of them by using some very non-Christian methods is the absolute most disrespectful thing you could possibly do.

Have to disagree here.  The parcel belongs to the person holding the deed, or rather to the person who's mortgaged his/her backside to get the deed, meaning the current occupants take precedence over the former.  Consider the living, they who toil for the land, first.  The former occupants of my house might be miffed at the idea of a witch sleeping where they once slept, but bugger what they think.  Since my backside (and a goodly slice of my earnings) go toward this hearth and home, I demand it be mine, and will banish interlopers either with spell or gun, depending on the interlopers' corporeality.  Veneration of spirits does not mean you let the dead walk o'er you.
Go with the Libberp.  LBRP.  It's mighty effective, but you need the ego to power it.

Well to be fair it's my grandmother's house and she doesn't mind them because they're family and it used to be their house. I don't want to evict any of the spirits in the house if they're not harmful or anything. I just want them to mind their own business and nothing i do is their business, it's barely my grandmother's business and that's only because this is her house and i live here.

I just want them to stop bothering me, stop bothering my nephew (purposely or not they upset him sometimes), and i want any negative/sinister/whatever spirits and energy out.

Rosemary has been used for a long time to cleanse areas of evil spirits (not saying these are, mind you) and negative energy.  I used this on my outdoor wedding canopy just recently and on the many doors in the one hallway that we have, because in the case of the hallway, I kept getting ... well. "Sliders", I guess you could call them.  Things seen out of the corner of my eye that were dark.  Could have easily been me being overtired, but I wasn't taking any chances.

For the wedding, my friend and I walked around the yard with a bowl of water with salt (mentioned in other posts as a cleanser! :) ) in it and dipped whole branches of rosemary in it, then sprinkled the area with the water.

If you aren't cool with sprinkling salted water around, you can do what I did in the hallway, and wave the slightly crushed rosemary around, then rub it against doorways (or whatever place feels like it's got negative energy).
I do altar art, icons, and pagan art!

hmmm, do you think soaking some rosemary leaves in water and then using it in a spray bottle would work? I don't exactly have access to rosemary branches, much as I'd love to XD could just add salt to it, spray windows and door frames?

Yeah, they're earworms:p.

Rosemary does seem especially appropriate here, because of its symbolic association with remembrance - simultaneously honoring/remembering these ancestors while clearing out negativity seems useful.

As for access, Aine Rayne, if you've got a supermarket in your vicinity that sells packets of fresh herbs (pretty common these days), rosemary is one they often stock.  That'll get you several sprigs - which I'm pretty sure is what NibbleKat meant by "branches", from the context - for an outlay of around five bucks, give or take.

We actually have a giant rosemary bush outside our back door. I just clipped off actual bits of it and walked around with them. :)

Nnnft, trust me, you can have it! Rosemary is one of those "take over the world" plants.  Kind of like... anything in the mint family, or morning glory vines.  It loves space!  Check out some restaurants in your area, especially if they're into the "eat local" thing.  Our local Mexican eatery has rosemary growing right outside on the curb. :)

You mmmmmmmight be able to find it in places like Lowe's or Home Depot.  I never have to buy it, so I never know when it's available.

Oh, on another note, you can find rosemary incense.

http://www.amazon.com/Auroshikha-IN-AUR-RSM-Rosemary-Incense/dp/B000OT07CI

Dunno if that one is made with real rosemary, but incense is out there.

Etsy is a good place!

Looks like nobody mentioned this one. Someone on one of my tarot forums uses tingsha cymbals to cleanse their tarot decks. I personally like the idea of using sound. Here's a link.

Aine, cleansing may be effected through any element, not just air (the smoky rituals).
For fire: light a candle in the home at sunset, everyday. Fire burns away negativity, clears the air.
For earth: scatter herbs or place dark, heavy crystals like pyrites, tourmaline. Sea salt counts as well.
For air: there's all the smudge and incense, but apart from those you can use feathers. Whisk peacock feathers around the home or an aura to cleanse.
For water: asperge, sprinkle water all around. Use sea salt in the water.

Good luck
