But Godchecker is FUN! XD

Thanks everyone for the info and links. As for god checker I've just been using it to get familiar with gods and it was recommended by someone on here. :)

If you find a god or goddess that particularly interests you in the godchecker page, just don-t stay with that information and read all you can about said god or goddess (which you should do anyway, wherever it is that you found the info). :)

Nothing yet! Although with all my pagan talk around the house lately my husband has become intrigued with the idea of paganism. I know that's not god related but I'm trying not to push myself too hard all at once.

As a Reconstructionist, we are fairly opposed to the kinds of eclecticism found in Wicca, where you just take a bunch of different gods and theologies from different cultures and say that they're all part of one system (sorry if I'm being to general about Wicca here),

I understand what you're saying but Wicca is actually a pretty specific praxis that serves two specific Gods. I think the former can be said of some Neo-Pagan paths influenced or inspired by Wicca's outer-court.

Also being a mystery tradition&priesthood, there are Wiccans that are Reconstructionists as well outside of their Craft involvement which isn't prohibited.

Thanks for the correction. I knew I was being a little reductive and general. I was more trying to make a point about reconstructionism.

No worries mate. I understood that you were being general but just wanted to elaborate on something that is often misunderstood.
