So I've started a blog "shouting to the winds:journey out of monotheism" as a way of fleshing out my beliefs as one new to polytheism. I'm not advertising, but kind of.
This is a huge undertaking for me, and if anyone has any advice, please let me know! Any and all prayers are very welcome and appreciated!

The best advice I have to offer is advice I need to listen to myself: just keep writing. I've been horrible about keeping my own blog updated, but if you hit a stride with writing, just keep it up!

I'm doing the same thing, though it's more of my Hellenic Witchcraft path. I'll be adding the Hedgewitch aspect of my path over the next couple of weeks. I love it, personally, when people blog. It allows others to see how your doing, the things that your going through, and how it's making you a better person.

This is a very good idea; I don't blog it online but I do keep a journal for this purpose. It's a very good tool for reflection where you can put show yourself how much you have actually advanced and learned.

And like you said you might have the concepts of your beliefs pretty defined in your head, but I find that it comes out in a lot less words when I write it down. But it makes sure you are very clear in what you believe, and thus can explain it to others with lucidity,
