The fountain also has a space for tealight candles, which I usually keep filled with LED lights; sometimes instead I place a real tealight in one slot.

Neat, glad to know I'm not the only one using LED candles instead of real ones.

Endowed with that faith, a votary performs the worship of that particular deity and obtains the fruits thereof, these being granted by Me alone." - Sri Krishna

My own patron actually insists upon the LED ones quite firmly.

I use an LED candle for my Cauldron Cill shifts when I can't have a physical candle lit! They're excellent!

For now, while I'm thinking of other shrines I may need, I've made some updates to my main shrine and altar.

And now I've updated my portable shrine as well as, for job-related reasons, put together a new one.

Eastling, you've blown my mind. These are all gorgeous- and those pins are amazing. I kept obsessing over making something for an upcoming trip and kept thinking about little boxes with ritual baubles exclusively. But this totally opens my mind to new possibilities. Thanks for the inspiration!

While in most regards my Mercury is not the Roman Mercury, he does retain a strong association with travel, so having on-the-go shrines is important to me. (I also tend to pick up new protective tokens on significant trips if I can.)

I'm glad I gave you some ideas!

So, my commission of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, has finally come in, and I'll be doing offerings and libations to Her (and Dionysos). Here's the picture of the altar with Her finally there: https://photos.app.goo.gl/s5D71jU3TEGsi4AP9

Every time I look at the altar now, it just feels right. Hopefully She approves!

My main shrine in the cubby above my bed was roughly dismantled in a sudden and traumatic move. Fortunately, all pieces survived intact and I have now rebuilt it in my new home, once again above the head of my bed as it should be. Images: 1 (close-up) 2 (full)

It looks great!  I absolutely adore your portable shrine - such a joyful way to represent your path.

I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but this forum looked like a good catch all for everyone. Please forgive me if I was wrong.

I am in the middle of moving. Everything I own is packed up and will be being unpacked in my new place over the next week or two. My new apartment is much larger then my current one & so I am hoping to make some extra room for my altar & redesign it as more then a small shelf lol.

I would love some inspiration & ideas. So if anyone would love to share pics or descriptions of their altars it would be lovely.

I know I am late to this thread, but new to the forum, so I thought I would share some photos of my altar:

I know I am late to this thread....

There are threads one can be late to, but this isn't one of them; it's an ongoing feature of TC! Thank you for helping it keep going on!

I redid my shrines over the last couple of weeks, and just took photos to share with someone else-Internet, so I figured I'd share them here too.

Description and photos (including details on where many of the items are from) on my website.

Is that the correct link for sure?  It looks like it goes to a specific post about your athame which I thought I had seen before, though I could be mistaken.

Sorry! Grabbed the wrong link, apparently. (Having linked to the athame post in the shrine one, like you do.)

Here's the right one, and I'm going to go fix the original one too.
