* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Wow... this is really making me think.  My thoughts on reincarnation had always run along the lines of one-to-one; I never really looked at it this way before.

I still am on the lines of one-to-one, with maybe a "waiting period" in-between there... But I guess we'll figure it out when we die. Heh!

Apparently it makes some difference if you say you were born in a hospital in Oxford as opposed to London, for example. But not so much difference if you were born 08:03:32 AM or 08:03:50 AM. But it makes a difference if you were born 08:02 AM versus 08:03 AM.

Though, I had a friend who told me that she had to fiddle a bit with the info on her birth certificate about where she was born, for political reasons. And, apparently the astrology connected to those birth circumstances began to apply more accurately to her than the secret one. So, I thought that might be a good thing to keep in mind for, say, adoptees who weren't registered right away and who maybe get to pick their birthday?

Ah, okay. Well, December 3rd, 1976 in a little hospital in Burlington, NC.  I am pretty sure my mother said it was 1:30pm, but I think it could have been 2:30.  Would an hour make a lot of difference?

I ran them both through alabe.com, and it just seems to budge Jupiter up a house. Hey, only two retrogrades! I get the impression that's like going to a dentist and having only a couple of cavities, since retrogrades in the natal chart are supposed to indicate some karmic lesson left unlearned in a previous life.

Your retrogrades are Jupiter and Saturn. I would interpret the Jupiter retrograde to indicate either abuse of power, or melancholy unappreciative of good fortune (in a past life). In this present life, the Jupiter retrograde manifests itself in... either the house of Lucrum, or the house of Fratres, if I counted the houses correctly (Is the first house below or above the ascendant line? I went for above.) This means you might have to (have) work(ed) much harder than most other people, to get an equally solid sense of basic necessity and economics (2:30 PM)... or, had a more difficult time that you should have, in finding people to appreciate you as their equal (1:30 PM).

The Saturn retrograde, in house Valetudo for both times given, might indicate having missed out on some way to spend your time, or your life (in your past life.) Health problems, ironically, appear to be a karmic incentive to "stay here"-- to pay attention to your body, to the earthly world, until you learn to love it? But the thing is, both retrogrades are in the... forgot the astrological jargon for it, but I want to say "dorsal" side of the chart. Below the Ascendant line. The subconscious, internal side... which most physical ailments aren't? (It would be a terrible plan, I think, to have given a life a genetic predisposition to... say... depression, in order to make up somehow for the karmic crime of being depressed in a past life.) Pluto and the moon share this area of your chart, what with the other planets in the ventral area of the chart, I interpret as extroversion in your personality-- but I didn't study them as directly having much to do with past lives. (Even though, as I understood it, everything in the known world, events, people-- who knows, even gods-- are surfing some ripple of our past life.)

Now, if I read the aspects correctly, both your retrogrades are trine. As in, the angle to which those two retrograde planets relate to all of the other planets, indicate... a benefit, somehow, from this supposedly extra weight-- beyond just living until you can unload it. So, these aren't necessarily aspects to only suffer or endure.

(Gyeahh, I'm so sloppy. Thanks, though, that was fun!)

First off, thank you SO much for doing this.  I am going to see if I can get some things clear, and all that...

"Your retrogrades are Jupiter and Saturn. I would interpret the Jupiter retrograde to indicate either abuse of power, or melancholy unappreciative of good fortune (in a past life). "

Well. I tend to boss those closest to me around a lot without thinking about it; in fact, I sort of take it for granted that if I ask/tell people to do something, they'll do it... annnnd the few folks I am around (like my husband) tend to be a little less dominant than I do.  This could be a learned behavior, though, since my father was very much a dominant figure and an authoritarian.

Do you think that the bit in the past life of being melancholy could be a hold-over into this life's melancholy? I did suffer severe depression in this life; it's mostly behind me (knock on wood), but I still have mild bouts.  I also tend to look on the darker side of things, which could correspond to the being depressed/mental stuff in this life that I have to work on-- do you think?

Health problems, ironically, appear to be a karmic incentive to "stay here"-- to pay attention to your body, to the earthly world, until you learn to love it? But the thing is, both retrogrades are in the... forgot the astrological jargon for it, but I want to say "dorsal" side of the chart. Below the Ascendant line. "

I think maybe what that means, what you're getting at, could be both learning to treat my body well, and more importantly to learn to actually like myself, to have faith in myself?  Lots of things that happened during my childhood wore down my self-esteem. I am much, much better than I was, but I struggled because of how I was raised. (Don't get me wrong, I love my father and KNOW he was a good person, but his mother made him a broken, angry man.)  So, could working on that be it, instead, perhaps, of the depression side of things?

And this:

"Now, if I read the aspects correctly, both your retrogrades are trine. As in, the angle to which those two retrograde planets relate to all of the other planets, indicate... a benefit, somehow, from this supposedly extra weight-- beyond just living until you can unload it. So, these aren't necessarily aspects to only suffer or endure."

means that I grow from/use what I have been carrying around with me? The pain or lack of self esteem or other stuff?

WHEW.

If I am making sense, let me know! If I am off, let me know! Hee.

I really appreciate it!

PS-- is there something written from alabe at all that I could look at, too?

From what I know of Saturn in astrology, that does sound like part of the pattern, yes. Though it also sounds to me as applying much more of this second one:

...but like I said, planets don't speak to me usually. ;)

Not just grow from it, but basically turn it into an advantage.

If you input your info on the free chart generator on that site, it does come with just some basic "this planet in that sign means so-and-so about your personality" your sun sign, your moon sign, your mercury sign, your mars sign... etc. Not so much about retrogrades and aspects, but still more thorough than a magazine horoscope. I haven't actually explored the rest of the site, if they have any articles about past life astrology.

Awesome! I really appreciate you doing that for me.

I looked for the free chart generator on the site, but got lost. X_X Will have to hunt for it again.
