* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Problems connecting with female deities?
« on: June 13, 2013, 11:48:59 pm »
This is a problem that has been plaguing me for a while, so I thought I'd ask for some input from others.

I have problems connecting to female deities. I had a budding relationship with Aphrodite, but it seems like when I start building a deeper relationship, I instinctively 'turn off' somewhere. This has happened to me with some gods as well, but I find there that I can usually come back and pick back up from where I left. With female deities, it seems like any ground I make I feel obliged to let go of, and if I wish to try to start reconnecting I have to go right back to the very beginning. Has anyone else had such gender issues with deities? Has anyone overcome it? For what it is worth, I am a cis-gendered female.

Hm.  Do you have any difficulty relating with people of your own gender?
Spider Man 3 never happened. Change my mind.

I hadn't thought about this, but it seems like I naturally feel more comfortable around my male relationships. I do have close female friends that I love and cherish, but if I look closely part of me is always afraid of really letting my guard down for fear of judgement.

So perhaps its an open-and-shut textbook case of fearing a judging, dominant male powerhead, except in my case its female?

Damn, you are good MadZealot.

Maybe the ways that you connect to your Gods is not completely transferable to the way a Goddess would like you to connect to her? I'm still trying to find which deities would like to work with me and like you I do tend to get a bit better along with my male friends than my female friends so maybe we both have a more masculine energy or are drawn to a more masculine energy that the Gods pick up on. Keep trekking on and I think that some day you'll find the right Goddess for you, I'm hoping that I will.
