Healing in Yule
« on: November 15, 2017, 11:59:18 am »
I have gotten a message from my Goddess that I will receive spiritual healing this Autumn and Winter, but particularly Yule. I am looking forward to receiving the healing from her. Has anyone else felt that Yule will bring spiritual healing for them?

Well, I'm open to visitors bearing gifts any time...but especially at Christmas!

I love the days between Yule ans New Year (we call them Rauhnaechte in German). I often feel that they are magical and replenish my energy. I also have some experience with Holly which I perceive as a plant for some kinds of spiritual healing.

It's also a time where I'm usually on vacation and I feel I can let the worries of the old year behind...so there are psychological effects of the winter vacation as well. :)

I am glad you experience enjoyment between Yule and New Year. It is a beautiful time of year. I love that you mentioned Holly is a plant you see as having spiritual healing. I completely agree. I love Holly and think it is very beautiful and healing. I am looking forward to having Holly in my home. I may look at some pictures of Holly today.

My goddess has implied that Yule is the time for renewal and healing from a recent tragedy for me as well. Right now, I'm spending my days meditating and reconnecting with my practice, as it had lapsed, but I also need to plan my ritual and gather what I need for that to me. This time between Samhain and Yule has seemed like an extended liminal phase in my life, so I hope that by the new year, I can find some kind of direction forward.

Thank you for sharing this. I am sorry for your recent tragedy and I pray your Goddess comforts you. I am glad your goddess has implied that Yule will be a time of healing and renewal for you as well. I feel that now that it is December that we are in the Yule season and that it will bring much healing for us both. By the New Year I pray we both will have had healing and a good direction forward.
