* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

I've been following the FK thread about improving the universe and it got me to thinking about how this issue sits in the many other religions here.

Does your religion require you to try and improve the universe?
Are there particular ways that you should do this?
If it doesn't, do you feel a personal obligation to do so?
Why / why not?

Nah.  I think "improve" is too relative.  I think we need more purple, you think we need more blue.

However, if you look at "improve" as manifesting your own life, which will improve how our universe unfolds, then yes, to all questions.

The universe does not need to be improved.  "It is what it is."  We can only "improve" our time within it.

Best~

I guess it depends on how you look at it. My "religion" requires me to improve myself, and by doing so I improve a small portion of the universe, which branches out.

As an Atheist, I have no religion.  I do what I feel "called" to do.  Called by what or whom, I have no clue.  I love dogs.  I own three dogs.  One of my dogs is a rescue.  I am a dog walker at my local humane society.  I do what I do out of my love for dogs and a need to do what I can for those that cannot do for themselves.

I used to question where I was doing the right thing by caring for dogs.  Should I not be caring for abused and abandoned children instead?  What was my purpose in life?  Why am I here?

Scrap all that.  The headaches from pounding my head against the wall trying to figure it al out aren't worth it.  It may sound selfish, but it's all about me.

I am kind to my neighbor because I hope for kindness in return.  I do not steal as I do not want others to steal from me. Also, I don’t want my name and picture in the paper or on the local news! I am bound by the opinion of others and society. I lead my life in such a way as to gain the comforts I wish to have, such as companionship and harmony (in being faithful) and the security of my own home (not breaking the law and spending time in jail). So I obey the law and rules of society to gain certain things that make my life easier and to “fit in”. This is not to say I would steal or kill if not for society rules, but I don’t honestly know. Who is free to truly know themselves?

In a sense yes, but in sense no. I wouldn't say I'm required to do anything but seeing as I hold nature to be sacred I do feel obligated to do what I can for the environment. I'm also pretty sure my patron likes me doing this (Sobek has close ties with vegetation that comes with the annual flooding of the nile). Not only that but I want to be a zoologist, I love animals, so it only makes sense to do what I can to improve the environment.

I do my best to help out the environment in different way. Donations to various environmental organizations, cleaning up trash around local parks, and just being smart with energy and recycling.
