All these white Pagans just to contend with one lone Shawnee. Anyway the point of my thread has been proven and coup has been counted. It's too bad some here are like obedient heel hounds looking for a pat on the head by despotic administrators and others of the upper rank-n-file.

So now before some petty forum despot shoots me off my horse, I will take my leave.

Speak to me about being polite when it's you calling people derogatory names?

I'm a blunt person. I call them like I see them. If you don't like it, either change your behavior, find another forum, learn to like it, or do whatever you want within the rules.

That's okay as I'm not trying to impress you. I can't see any reason to try to impress you, especially when I don't try to impress anyone else here.

So, I don't know what you wanted to accomplish here, but here is what you did: you bought into the idea that everyone on a pagan forum by default is white, and that if we don't declare our ethnicity or backgrounds we obviously white; you alienated quite possibly most PoC on this forum who previously gave you the benefit of the doubt (I know I am); you've also made it quite clear that we are all apparently a part of some ... "experiment" that we apparently played into, but from the outside looking in we see a lot of colourful, flourishy words and over reaction to Randall and the mods doing their job (which compared it previous dust ups? was pretty hands-off considering nothing really happened in this thread).

Sorry but you know what? I'm tired of people trying to erase my identity just because I am not defending you (against your straw man arguments). You don't get to decide who is or who is not a PoC just because they don't play into your little game.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Nyktipolos again.

Dude? My name is Atehequa which means Fisher Cat. I came here to be accepted for who I am, not what others expect me to be. Oddly enough before this thread was started barely anyone here paid me no mind. As far as me being off topic,, no more so than Roman gods.

I'll meet you half way, but not with clinched fists or thoughts of punching anyone in the nose. Why is it people make replies without offering greetings first?

You have made it pretty clear what you were fishing for, cat.
I hope the coup you counted was worth the trouble you took to manufacture it here, and brought you some measure of satisfaction, or something.

Generally speaking, and perhaps my understanding of counting coup is flawed, but for it to actually count as counting coup the target must be shamed and suffer some loss of face as a result.

I don't see that as having happened here. Quite the opposite, actually.

Apparently being "white" has nothing to do with skin color or culture or genetics, but is how "people who don't support Atehequa" are classified. :rolleye::

I'm still quite surprised by the way 'European' has been defined in this thread...

I've been doing a lot of thinking, and it's my opinion that nobody was in the right in this thread, myself included. Did Atehequa act like a complete ass? Absolutely. But he wasn't the only one, and I'd like to apologize for my part in piling onto him.

I just have been following this thread for the last few days and I have to say that most who commented allowed themselves to act a lot like children.  Anyway, it at least keeps things interesting - kinda make me feel like I am back home. :)
