* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Thai Cave Rescue Successful
« on: July 10, 2018, 01:12:14 pm »
All twelve members of the "Wild Boars" soccer team and their coach have been rescued from the flooded underground cave complex in Thailand. It appears from reports that one of the keys to the rescue was the fact that the rain slacked off enough to allow the pumping to drop the water level in the caverns. I offer a tip of the hat to any deities who might have had a hand in facilitating that.

The rescue did cost the life of Saman Gunan, a 38-year-old former SEAL for Thailand who volunteered to don his gear again to participate in the rescue. He ran out of breathing air and lost consciousness while ferrying air tanks into the cavern to stage them for the rescue. May he not be forgotten.

I saw this on the lunchtime news. It's a relief to see something positive being reported on, for once.
