Very odd that they didn't run her prints to confirm that she was the illegal alien wanted for various crimes she claimed she was. She could have been an even more dangerous person we'd want to incarcerate in the US before deporting.

Looks like the public defenders office is going to be getting a major shake up.

Yeah, "run fingerprints" was my first thought. Especially since some states have child-ID programs now, where you can fingerprint your child, and have the prints on file. (I can't remember if it's the police department or another office that maintains the database here, but I know the state of Hawaii has this program.)
