I only knew her slightly, as an occasional customer when I tried to run a small business of my own, though she seemed a very nice person, thus am mourning more the loss of a major icon of my generation, whereas most of my friends were closer to her personally and mourning an individual.  These are different feelings, in my opinion, therefore I am posting here so as to have space to express a sorrow without intruding on theirs.
