If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

That's a fairly strong earthquake for the area.

I felt it here in MD. My first thought after the quake was....is the government weapon testing some new weapon underground?

I know I though for a moment I was back in Japan.  Seeing as how it was centered near Richmond I am about 4.5 hours away in Eastern West Virginia.

I felt it in Ontario.  Not much, just enough to notice and wonder if my chair was moving.

I do what I have to do to get by
But I know what is wrong, and I know what is right
And I die for the truth in my secret life

Quite an unusual place for strong earthquakes. Hopefully not too much damage was caused.

My mom called me 'cause it broke her teapot in Baltimore.  Apparently one of my friends felt it here in MA, but I was wrestling the bitling so if it reached here I missed it.

Actually no its not.  The east coast of the US gets them every couple of years.  People forget the East Coast of the US is a subduction zone with the Atlantic Plate sliding beneath it.  Thier just normally not as severe or jolting as what is experienced on the West Coast of the US.  We get them along the Mississippi river as well though those are far more infrequent.

Ice Giants?  In Virginia?  In August?  I'm not sure if Thor would even bother:p
