What kills me about this is how it has become a thing about politics first and the actual problem a distant second.  It just baffles me that people will not see reason or think that it might be a good idea to try to take care of this planet.  Even if humanity is not affecting the climate as much as science suspects, should we not try to take care of it anyways?

Sure, lets start with the biggest promoter of AGW danger and his 10,000 sq ft house; or the huge amounts of money he has made from selling indulgences carbon credits.  Or that a few years ago the big conference was in Tahiti rather than some place that most people were living so that fewer people would have to travel?

Or that many of the proposed solutions look like a pure wealth transfer from the US to under developed nations? or that China and other non-1st world countries would be exempt from the carbon reduction rules?

Or that the models and raw data AFAIK are not being shared with the larger world?
