I hope these people do boycott Star Wars VII as that will make it easier for the rest of us to get tickets.

More seriously, what a bunch of loons. Star Wars has always been multi-racial at least among the human characters. I'm don't know enough about all those non-human species to be able to say if different races of Wookies, Ewoks, Jawas, etc. are represented.

I did not understand this at all at first as one of the three major characters sure looks white to me. Then I realized that to these idiots a female probably doesn't count. There's a whole lot of bigotry packed into these folks.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but some of my friends are.  One point was raised that apparently in the existing Canon, the clone warriors / storm troopers were white.  

If that is accurate, having the star be an clone warrior And black is a major continuity error if there is not an in story explanation (not necessarily this movie, but someplace).

That'd be a good point if it were true.  Sadly, the clones in the prequel trilogy all had the face of Temeura Morrison, who's very much not white.  They also spoke with his voice.  

Later stormtroopers don't speak with the same voice and we never see em unmasked, so there's no reason to believe they're all clones of the same guy.

Wow, these guys are just so but hurt that a major movie is so diverse. I didn't hear them crying when the Star Trek reboot came out, and it was just as diverse as this movie. Honestly, these guys are just pissed that they can't have their way.  I'm wondering have they ever seen Star Wars lately. Billy Dee Williams was in the original movie, not to mention the several aliens characters. These people are just stupid racist morons.
