DIY Journeying...or should I quit while I'm ahead?

So....I went to see a woman today. She calls herself a shaman. She was trained in Peru. Normally, if I saw anyone put up a website like hers and call themselves a shaman, I'd run in the other direction, but the lady at the occult bookstore vouched for her (and warned me away from another person who she considered a ripoff).

....Aaaaaand....she actually seems to have been able to do something. She did energy work on me, and a soul retrieval. I brought Sarasvati along. As I said, I was very skeptical, but she kept telling me things that she had no way of knowing unless she really did have something going on. Such as...she told me that my third eye chakra was incredibly active, and seemed to be compensating for an underdeveloped throat chakra - something I'd guessed, but never been sure of.

During the soul retrieval, I remember seeing flashes of treetops, and a distant vision of Sarasvati bringing me something large, white, and angular that glowed in the light. When it was over, this lady told me some of the things that had happened. She actually seemed kind of intimidated by Sarasvati, which makes both of us both kind of pleased with ourselves. :p

One thing she told me that stood out was that as she was about to go down the river leading into the Otherworld, Sarasvati stopped her and firmly said, "No. *I* go first."

She also told me about a past life I had, but she doesn't seem to have seen it very clearly, since as soon as I was driving away, Sarasvati-sama was insinuating that she hadn't quite gotten the details correct. The lady had seen the past rather more rosily than it really was, apparently, even though Herself is very clear that the larger facts were basically correct.

So now I'm settled back in my apartment, and I'm just going "where now?" I feel like I've just started something and I have to continue it, but I don't know where to go.
