What is on the top of YOUR 'To Watch" list?
« on: November 27, 2011, 09:32:41 pm »
I was thinking about my ever growing "To Watch" list. I want to know what YOU are thinking about watching, or wanting to re-watch!

I want to watch X-Files, every season, start to finish AND the movie. I got a taste of it when I was visiting Absent a month or two ago and I loved it!

I love adding to my list, so share your "To Watch" list or just one bit and discuss with me? :D:

I can help with that one - Once Upon a Time.  That link will take you to the Hulu page.  It just started this season and the first four episodes are currently posted.  I'm actually enjoying it.  I like fractured fairy tales and this one has a twist I'm not familiar with.  I don't want to say to much more for concern of spoilers.  I will say that you need to give it at least two episodes, possibly three, before making a judgement.  It would really have benefited from a two hour premier.
Reality is but perception.

It's on Netflix now. And there are two movies. ;) (The second film (I Want to Believe; 2008) is also on Netflix; the first (Fight the Future; 1998) is not.)

One month's free trial is enough time to watch all 201 episodes and the two movies, if you don't have much else to do with your time.

Top of my to-watch list:

Currently on Season 1 of X-Files.
Sliders
Stargate SG-1
Xena: Warrior Princess
Battlestar Galactica (1978)

And Elf. Because I've never seen it and tis the season.
Pray drunk. Hex sober.

The DCAU, particularly Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, and Batman Beyond.  I'm currently watching Justice League and will get back to those three when I'm finished.

Just the stuff on my Instant Queue on NetFlix is constantly growing. I have BSG, SGU, SG1, SGA, both SG movies, Farscape (even though I own it), Psych, Monk, Firefly (again)... Um, those are just the TV shows that I can think of off the top of my head.

We just started watching Warehouse 13 this year, now I want to see season 1 and 2. We also caught a couple of Eureka last month, and now I think I would like to see that show from the beginning as well... and it has been around a while!

I have a few episodes of Eureka to watch, as well. And it's the final season!

Oh, I forgot to mention that during my upcoming 2-week "staycation" (it's becoming an annual holiday event) I'll be working out to the entire extended-edition LotR trilogy.  It's just the bribe I need to work off all those delicious holiday feasts.  ;)  It's around 11 hours total!

I don't know; watching Men and Elves get hot and sweaty in their battles makes me want to get hot and sweaty too.

I mean. Um.

It's how I bribe myself to work out on my elliptical.  It's set up in front of my computer monitor.

And just to clarify, I don't only watch LotR.  I watch all manner of movies and shows, both excellent and crappy.  But I don't get to watch any of them unless I'm working out.  I haven't watched the Extended Edition set in a few years, and it's tempting to sit on my ass for 11 hours and do just that while I'm on vacation.  Instead, I'll roll it into my daily workout.  Yeah.  I need that much motivation.  ;)

ETA:  And just to further clarify--I'm not working out for 11 hours straight.  I'm breaking up the workouts into hour-long chunks.  I'm not clinically insane.

See?  I'm not that weird.  Or at least not because of this.
