Currently an early episode of Jeopardy! - I think from 1985 or thereabouts. It's fun to see how the show's changed! (Especially Alex Trebek's hair.  ;) )

Goodness, I imagine it's funny to see how it's changed!   ;D  (I can't handle anything too dated)

I've since started watching Scream Queens, and I can't decide whether I'm into it or not

I completely forgot to watch the rest of this and now it's no longer on Amazon Prime for free - so I guess I wasn't that into it afterall

Now I'm trying to decide what to watch next (time to revisit my other thread)

Ooo we started watching Carnival Row the other night, and I'm really not sure why we put it off for so long, I think we're both really enjoying it!

There's a what are you listening to right now thread, I thought it would be cool to have one about what we are watching!

I just finished the 2nd series of the Icelandic noir drama Trapped. I've now started the Swedish noir drama Rebekah Martinsson. I guess I like that Scandivanian bleakness.

Practical Magic from 1998, which popped up on the TV and which I've never seen before.

Turns out up until now I led a charmed (pun intended) existence. It's *insufferable*; utterly treacly and devoid of anything passing as genuine human emotion. If feels like something out of the 1970s.
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

I'm currently watching the new Twilight Zone - the first episode was not great, but some of the others have been pretty good, especially episode 6.

Been watching a number of Italian and British (Hammer) horror movies:

The Beyond
City of the Living Dead
Blood and Black Lace
Inferno
Twins of Evil
Vampire Circus
The Creeping Flesh
Dracula Has Risen From the Grave

Also some noir:

The Killing
Night of the Hunter

And a wonderful late Shaw Brothers kung fu movie, The Bastard Swordsman

Oo any good?

I can't recall if I've already posted that I'm also watching Prodigal Son on Sky One.

Oh and as has become traditional for me at this time of year Kirstie's Handmade Christmas

Oo any good?

Twins of Evil and Vampire Circus are two of Hammer's best. I'd say they are easily better vampire flicks than most of Christopher Lee's sequels (not blaming Christopher Lee, they didn't give him much to work with). As for the Italians, Blood and Black Lace, Inferno, and the Beyond are all classics. City of the Living Dead was a letdown for me. The two noir films I saw are both classics and well worth a watch. Night of the Hunter is especially striking and creepy.
