Love it! Hubby and I play a game, spot the un-zombie-like behavior. It cuts down on the nightmares. Yes, as much as I hate to admit it, the show gives me nightmares :o.

You're not alone, it gives me nightmares too.  Zombies freak me out so I normally don't watch stuff with them in it, but I have to admit the show is pretty good.  I just try not to fall asleep pondering how I would survive a zombie apocalypse.  :ashamed:

For me, there's something about these specific zombies that really creeps me out. I think it's the subtle differences in their behavior. In most zombie moves, they all act the same. They might be slow, shambling zombies, or fast moving, agile  zombies, but there all pretty much the same and fairly predictable.

Not in this show. I think it's like Yewberry said, they're a little more like people. I think that's what wigs me out.

Anyway, my oldest son has put a lot of thought into surviving the zombie apocalypse. He's got a pretty solid plan, so I'll just follow his lead. ;)

Probably not. It's in it's second season now, so I imagine they're about as interesting as they're going to get. I could be wrong, though. I hope so because I'd like to see a little more character development too. I really like the show, but there's only so much running from zombies (even zombies who use tools) I can watch.

Which brings me to a question, what do you all think about the zombies? Should zombies use tools? Do you like the idea that some of them seem to be smarter, more coordinated, faster etc. than others? How much thinking should a zombie really be able to do?

They do seem more coordinated and able to run faster and do more things than traditional zombies. I think it makes it a lot scarier for the people know that these zombies have some strengths and mobility.

Which, with extrapolation, explains why the worst zombie is someone you know and are close to.

So, what's worse than being in a zombie apocalypse? Being pregnant in a zombie apocalypse.

Sadly, I saw this coming in the first season. I guess we can look forward to some babydaddydrama.

I'm kinda disappointed that they went there. Does anyone else think this is getting a little bit too predictable?

But do we now for sure who's the daddy?  I felt that was a bit in the air, after all her husband has been back for some time now.

Not so much.  Being pregnant during any kind of apocalypse would be a hell of a challenge (to say the least) and it's a dilemma worth exploring.

That being said.... you want unpredictable, try reading the source material: The Walking Dead comics.  Things happen there that you won't see coming.  Especially as concerns the babymama drama.

I don't think we do. I think it could go either way.

Comics aren't really my thing, but it's good to know that there are some surprises. Hopefully that will carry over into the show.
