If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Love it! Hubby and I play a game, spot the un-zombie-like behavior. It cuts down on the nightmares. Yes, as much as I hate to admit it, the show gives me nightmares :o.

Most excellent!  And it's on earlier this year - it was on at 11pm for us last year which is late if you have to work in the morning.

I watched the 1st series but I know longer have FX so will have to wait for series 2 until it re-plays on one of the other channels again. I have always had a bit of a thing for Andrew Lincoln but I do prefer his usual accent :p

That's the thing, it's not that scary. I watch lots of horror, so much that my husband says horror movies are the chick flicks in our house. I don't know what it is about this... just creepy I guess.

Saw the premier and the first episode.  Not really sucking me in (and it has nothing to do with the gore, which I don't care about in context).  I love me some Breaking Bad, though, which is why I gave this show a shot.

Do the characters get more interesting?  'Cause right now I'm rooting for the zombies.  ;)

Probably not. It's in it's second season now, so I imagine they're about as interesting as they're going to get. I could be wrong, though. I hope so because I'd like to see a little more character development too. I really like the show, but there's only so much running from zombies (even zombies who use tools) I can watch.

Which brings me to a question, what do you all think about the zombies? Should zombies use tools? Do you like the idea that some of them seem to be smarter, more coordinated, faster etc. than others? How much thinking should a zombie really be able to do?

I have never read the comics, but hopefully the characters will get more interesting. Poor Zombies need to eat to, lol

I don't care so much about the zombie parameters (or the whole zombie genre, such as it is).  I think the tool use thing humanizes them a bit, which I guess some people think is anti-zombie (harder to blow the brains out of something that's too much like oneself).

I do think it took way too long for them to break through a plate glass window in the second episode, though.  But maybe my impatience had something to do with really wanting them to eat the annoying protagonists...

I was asked for my opinion, right.  ;)

If they follow the comic at all beyond what they did first season then the characters are in for some seriously dark shit beyond zombies and will absolutely undergo further development.
