I listen to documentaries at work. You guys are going to get a lot of these. I really enjoyed this and Bettany Hughes comes highly recommended by some of my friends who are Art Historians.

She also did decent documentaries on the Minoans, Myceneans, Spartans, Athenians, and the Library of Alexandria.

Thanks for this, must have missed it when it was on the TV. Will try to watch it when I have time.

Also, her book about Helen is really good. I would recommend it. (I haven't read all of it yet, only about a third, but I went to a talk she did about Helen and based on that talk then the rest of the book is going to be as good as the beginning. )
