Favourite stand up comedians

A little lighter discussion, as a counterpoint.

Who has a favourite stand up comedian?

I think mine's Sarah Millican, closely followed by Michael McIntyre.

One of Sarah's bits that sticks in my mind is a bit about going for a massage - this clip is almost four minutes long, but I particularly like the bit at about 0:45 to do with the male massage therapist on staff.  (Word of profanity warning - there's a just little bit of bad language in this routine.  Also, a word of regional accent warning - Sarah's a Northerner, but persevere because she's very funny!)

And I really wanted to be able to link to a clip of Michael McIntyre on the phonetic alphabet for spelling your name & etc over the phone, but I couldn't find it sadly - I swear I laughed so hard that I nearly aspirated a cup of tea three or four times during that one bit, alone!  If you can find it, it's very funny (a bit of mild profanity in that one, too).

Victor Borge forever  ;D

And in a similar vein, Anna Russel explaining the Ring Cycle:

(I have a thing for musical comedy, apparently.)

(edit because I found a better quality video of the same clip)

I still can't find the clip I wanted to share of Michael McIntyre, but this one

about paying bills and outdated mimes for things like hanging up the phone isn't bad.

I think that George Carlin was the greatest stand up comedian of the 20th Century. I am a bit of a comedy nerd and like a lot of different kinds of comedians. My personal favorite is probably Patton Oswalt, mainly because he is a geek and a lot of his stuff is geek themed, although he jokes about a whole range of stuff.
