TV/Film: Do You Like Jurassic Wolrd Movie?

I hate Jurassic Park and I haven't seen any of the others.
Still going to go see Jurassic World because Chris Pratt.

 
Finally saw it tonight.

My reactions during it:

Dinosaurs being attacked and/or dying: hiding my eyes and going "no no no no no leave them alone! Don't kill them!"

Dinosaurs attacking humans: "Kill them! Kill them all!"

Summary: too many dinosaurs deaths, not enough human deaths. Most disappointing part: no topless Chris Pratt.

When I was a very wee girl, long before feminist issues were on my horizon,  I remember watching an old Tarzan movie and being disgusted by a woman going into the jungle in high heels then running and tripping. I played in the woods so I pretty well knew how stupid this was.
I love a good cheesy adventure movie as much as the next person, but. I was streaming this today and my 'count the hackneyed trope-o-meter' broke pretty quickly in.
But damn. There was the lead female protagonist running into the jungle in ...high heels. Running in front of a T-Rex...in high heels.

I remember saying something about this while watching it with the family and my 13 yr old son said, "But she's doing an amazing job!"
