Does anyone know the name of the piece of music they play whenever the couple from the 20s are around? I think I remember it in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (the Kenneth Branagh version).

I know it did sound familiar.

It looks like we'll find out more about Pleather Man next week. Personally, I can't wait.

Also, I didn't see the Larry-Constance connection.

Huh, well I didn't expect pleather dude to be Tate. Odd. Also the whole insanity of the house ultimately revolving around getting a baby into the house and presumably killing it just so queen bitch can have a baby is seriously creepy.

Yeah, I found the last episode to be very disturbing in lots of different ways. Not the ooh spooky kind of disturbing, more the that's just wrong kind of disturbing.

I didn't see him as Tate, either. I assumed it was going to be a new ghost entering the household.

I think it's just really fucking weird that everything revolves around what Nora wants. And I also want to understand, more fully, why Tate does everything the women in the house tell him to. His comments about having mommy issues didn't ring as the only the only issue.

ALSO. If Tate doesn't know he's dead, why does he hang out with dead people?

Thoughts on the above question are as follows... The Hubby and I think that Tate has a kind of double personality or a split-personality. You have the personality that is humane and human that spends time with Violet and sees his mother. That is the Tate that is unaware of what happened to him. Then, you have the Tate that serves the wishes of the female ghosts in the house, who is fully aware that he is dead and doesn't give two shits what he does as long as they are happy.

I totally agree, it also helps explain why pleather!tate seems to be developing a new distaste for the violence. 'Cause lets face it he didn't have to kill the couple the way he did that was some seriously dark shit.

Isn't it though?

A running theory about Violet: The Hubby stumbled upon this on the forum he belongs to. The going theory over there is that Violet is a ghost. It would explain why she hasn't left the house in two weeks or gone to school---her attempt at suicide actually worked. Of course, the preview for the upcoming episode showed her running and screaming, which, I think, could lead this in either direction.

Also, I'm revising my split personality idea for Tate. He seems to only function has a ghost who 'doesn't know' he's a ghost whenever he's around Violet. I hate to say it, but maybe he puts on the front for Violet. Honestly, I would like to believe that it isn't all an act. Maybe, he honestly does forget everything when he's around her. Love does that sometimes, right? However, I have the sneaking suspicion that it started out as a little prank or something against Ben, which has since backfired at Tate resulting in his falling in love with her.

And a final aside: I wanted to punch Ben in the face when he was Mr. Asshole to his wife. She said there was a rapist, but he had to go and call her a cheater! I mean, mayhap it was guilty conscious on his part, but it was totally uncalled for. OH! And another thing about Ben: why did he finally see Moira as she really is? I didn't really understand that part.

I hadn't even considered that possibility. But if she is, wouldn't the medium have said something?

I thinks he's a very disturbed adolescent. He was a messed up teenager and killed a bunch of people when he was alive. Now, he's a messed up teenaged ghost.

I've wanted to punch Ben in the face since the first episode.

Well, she didn't try to commit suicide until after she met the medium. Why would the medium care if she was dead or not? Constance is no longer trying to use her for whatever reason.

That's a thought.

Okay. So, I'm not the only one who thinks he's a douche. Awesome!

He is finally seeing what is really going on and he is controlling himself. He is starting to understand that the house and all the crap that is happening is real and his eyes have been open.

Er, no. I keep going back and forth between hoping one of the ghosts kills him and thinking that death is not good enough punishment.
