WANT. Is it available online?

This is it. I personally found it in a shop in California that smelled heavily of patchouli. The moment I saw it, my wallet was open.

Maybe he's being exceptionally literal?  Didn't "barbarian" originally mean "anyone who isn't Greek?"  :D:

Who doesn't speak Greek.  I don't off the top of my head know about Caesar's linguistic skills. ;)

Ah.  Well, chances were good that as an upper class Roman, he had at least some Greek.  So that blows my theory...  :ashamed:

Not necessarily. If memory serves (and it often doesn't), Pedagogues weren't quite in fashion when Caesar was a lad (the 90s BC) so I wouldn't think his knowledge of Greek would be that comprehensive. Then again I could be completely wrong, but I've lost my bio of him so I can't check at the moment. Still, his famous phrase "Alea iacta est" is said to be borrowed from Menander     -who wrote in Greek- and Plutarch alleged that he spoke the phrase in Greek (Life of Pompey, 60.2.9); so we cannot be too sure.

What's the craziest thing someone's said about your path?

I've heard quite a few in the 17 years I've been searching. One of the best ones was the following.

"You don't LOOK like a pagan. You look like any old normal Christian to me."

I wasn't aware that pagans had some predetermined "look", or that Christians look "normal".

I've seen a version here.

I know I've seen others, but can't find the links just at the moment.

Socialist. People keep using that word. I don't think it means what they think it means.

My ex's cousin looked at my necklace today (it's a pentacle with the triple moon) and called me a devil worshiper, it was jokingly but still. I told him the devil is a Christian concept and he snickered, then called me a "wicker" apparently I am furniture.

You mean you're not a piece of furniture?  Then why have I been using you as a chair?

I've gotten a variation of that: "You're asking for trouble/bad luck/the end of the world by worshiping that god".

The majority of odd comments I've gotten have actually been from other people within the Norse/Germanic spectrum of paths, not outside of it.
