For January the monthly topic will be:
Resolutions, Habits, New Beginnings

Anything goes: Do you make New Year's resolutions? How do you deal with bad habits? What does your path require you to adapt as habits? How hard is it? How do you trick yourself into doing it? Do your gods want you to let go of bad habits? Why they are bad?....

You see, a lot of different things to write about. Just do as many or as few posts as you like and let us know the link to your post here.

A big topic to think about, and try to narrow down into a coherent post. Time to put the kettle on.

I'm notoriously bad at updating things, but I can probably manage this once a month thing. Maybe. Possibly... I'll try, anyway. ^_^;;;

Since a few of us discussed a different approach to this writing project, I proudly present the first alternative topics.

We will have a monthly theme and we will pick a current discussion from TC, too, to write about.

OK, let's get started! :)

Just thought I'd link the wonderful badges Sulischild made.

Sure - it's just a cut-out on a transparent background for now, so I can add whatever extra bits and bobs people want.

Oh god I am so tired, when I looked at those badges I wondered why there was a fish leaping into a cauldron...

Wrote my post already by hand, will type it out when I'm home from the funeral.

I shall embrace the light. I shall weather the storm.
I shall endure.

Thanks, I wanted to do this and kept forgetting it.

*Sees fish*

Speaking of that thing - if anyone would like a different background or font or what-have-you, just give me a shout.  I still have all the layers and stuff, so it's not a hassle to do different versions.  (And I have plenty more novelty fonts.  Plenty.  More.)

My first PBP blog post fits with the resolutions and new beginnings theme: Acceptance.

In a nutshell, I have a bad habit of not doing stuff because I'm waiting til I've got more time/money/knowledge/skills/tools/whatever, and the practical upshot is I end up never doing squit.  So this year, that's changing.  Even if I do make an utter pig's ear of it, at least I'll have done something.

Sounds familiar. We need to start a TC procrastinator's club.
