I'm doing research on the psychological concept of flow for some stuff I want to write on alternative trance-like states available to artists in particular. (My ultimate goal is to have something approaching a body of work to provide context and guidance for artists working within polytheist religious traditions.) I have a book by Csiikszentmihalyi that I'll be starting shortly, but I was wondering if anyone had anything worth reading that was available online, or anything related to the state. Or hell, even personal anecdata.

The closest I've come is losing myself in writing religious rituals for hours. I didn't realize hours had gone by until afterward. I've lost that kind of time in other experiences too but not sure it was flow.
