* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Burst of Anger

Ok..

Deep breath

I was hoping to ask this privately as it likely sounds like I've let my imagination run wild ( may well have ) but the thing is I've got my courage up and at the same time the experience I want to ask about is starting to fade so that, soon, I wont be able to record it properly.

Frankly put, something I read on here today triggered something and I suddenly had a ball of strong rage blow up inside me. It was huge, focussed and felt totally different to how I usually feel angry. Add to that the fact that, although it felt overwhelming, it was like a second focus to my own mental thoughts/focus which had to be on work, driving etc.. This built to a point where it felt like my stomach was on fire and my veins were boiling and it was hard to keep this focus from being overwhelming.

The ridiculous thing is, it felt..?unlike? mine?

I posted on the 'There I said it' thread to let it out but spent the next few hours feeling it drain away. Still feel a tingle in my spine.

So my question is. Is this likely to be just pent up emotions bursting like from a crack in a dam or is it, how it felt and coming from somewhere else?

Well... that's a thing no one is really ever going to be able to decide but you.

For myself, part of the reason I believe in my deities is that I've been granted the temporary experience of emotions I had heard described but never truly experienced before, but plenty of people would say it's surely just some kind of psychological phenomenon and I can't prove them wrong.

A thing to consider might be whether you've been working with or doing anything to attract attention from any being who might have an interest in the subject ( or had signs that one might be interested in you).

That would be a yes.

So it could be what it felt like.. Next questions, if you don't mind me asking another few, how often could that or similar happen? Are they always possible to hold some control on? Apart from eating chocolate, grounding, resting etc. are there other ways to recover quicker after?

Thank you

That's pretty variable and hard to give an answer to, and also there are degrees ranging from "I'm definitely aware of these feelings bubbling up in the background but I'm not too badly affected"( pretty common for me) to "Yikes, that was intense, WTF just happened?!" but I wouldn't expect big earth-shattering stuff all the time.  ( Perhaps a couple of times over the course of several years?).   As to recovery, I'd pretty much handle it like any other unsettling adrenaline rush you might have from any cause.

In some cases I believe it may even be possible to negotiate with the being in question a bit and ask them not to be unnecessarily disruptive, but YMMV.

That makes me feel a lot better
