170 Years First Female Senior Minister Installed.

The First Unitarian Congregational Society in Brooklyn (a Unitarian Universalist Congregation) installed it's 13th Senior Minister today, the first woman senior minister in our 179 year history, side note she is young, Jewish (she observes a modified Sabbath), is married, and has twins.  

This is a welcomed major shift from the congregation I joined 9 years ago.  She was called with an almost unanimous vote.  

Our last four Senior Ministers served for 40+ years, 50+, 11 years and 4 years (last one was called to service in London, England).
