I know it may not be the same to those who use the Euro date format, but....

Thursday is typically the day my work brings in the Australian meat pie food truck, so I will definitely be giving him my patronage today in honor of the date.

At least two pizza parlors in my town sell small pizzas for $3.14 today, I shouldn't but am considering that for lunch.

We are coming up on the pi second of pi day 3:9:26 pm giving us pi to 7 decimal places: 3.1415926 (of course, you have to use 24-time for the hour for this to work: 15:9:26).
