systems of a love spell
« on: October 30, 2012, 05:00:59 pm »
Just wondering what effects can be seen when some one is under a love spell. Trying to figure out if some one I know is under one. if any one can tell me anything that would be very help full. I would also be very thankful. As well i will help out people who need help with things.

thanks, DRAKE

Let's back up a step here, maybe: how do we tell when someone is - or may be - acting magically on someone else.

1) Is there someone with sufficient skill, will, and interest in doing so?

Despite what movies imply, doing a lasting magical working on someone else who isn't wanting to go that way is not terribly easy. Unless you have all three pieces, the effects are likely to either be short lived or pretty weak (they might improve an existing inclination, but not push someone in an entirely new direction, in other words.)

2) Is the person in question (the presumed target) likely to be vulnerable to same?

Experienced magic practitioners tend not to be - but people who live in 'right relationship' with those around them, have a strong spirituality of their own, or who are just people of high integrity also tend to have a fair number of protections, in my experience.

3) Is the presumed target actually showing any signs of anything untoward?

This is the one that's tricky to determine - and really, barring someone doing something that's going to have major lasting consequences for them, I think that adults generally get to sort it out for themselves.

(Someone starting a possibly ill-considered relationship? Recoverable. Someone selling all their possessions and running of to live on a houseboat with someone they've known for a couple of months? Potentially more suitable for "Hey, have you been feeling odd recently?" interventions from their friends.)

Things I'd consider thougtfully as problematic signs: dreams/etc. that affect someone's ability to function in regular daily life (i.e. so distracted they can't work properly, aren't sleeping well, etc.), substantial changes in behaviour, especially in ways they'd have previously considered less ethical/appropriate. Stuff that goes against their stated values (someone who's previously been very careful about intimate interactions wanting to have sex immediately, say.)

People's approaches to relationships can very naturally change (and even our best friends may not see a lot of changes until something comes up that brings them into sharp relief.) Which is why I fall back on "Generally, I assume that adults can manage their own lives." and would only raise the question if I felt it truly necessary. (How do I decide that? One part consultation with various deities, one part common sense, and one part trusting the small sure voice of informed conscience of what I can live with later.)
