Online schools for learning more about traditionalist witchcraft?
« on: September 25, 2013, 08:47:22 pm »
I hope this is in the right folder :)

Does anyone know any reputable (ie. the people involved are forthcoming with their qualifications, what they have written or studied etc.) online schools for those interested in learning more about various forms of witchcraft?

Thanks in advance :-)

Magica School.

I'm not the OP but I checked it out out of curiosity and it seems to be mostly focused on Wicca and Tarot, which I don't think is what the OP was asking about.

This is my single most favorite how-to manual ever: Witchcraft From The Ground Up.

It cover a bit of variety. Basis is "direct magic" or psionics/shamanism(core) and it moves on to chaotic sigils and ceremonial seals (symbols, not pinnipeds). The original author disappeared off the face of the internet, I think, but I've done the course myself and can vouch for it up to the OBE's at least. I'm writing my own based on this but with adding some of my experiences that it didn't cover (i.e., how are you supposed to get out of body when there's something watching and waiting for you to do just that and making the process quite awkward and uncomfortable?)

It isn't traditional in the sense that some dead person wrote down how to do something to be read hundreds of years later and followed to the letter, but being spirit-taught might well have been a large factor in how witchcraft even started, and so that could be as traditional as they come.
