Hey guys Bregh here and I was wanting to know if anyone has anything that will help be dream again....for the past 4 years I can't remember a single dream or nightmare and I used to have one ever single night. I've tried teas and meditating but it doesn't seem to help. Please if you have any suggestions please let me know!

May you always find shade and Blessed Be.

How us your sleep, overall? Not remembering dreams is usually just an indication that you are falling into deep sleep very quickly.

This is silly but it works for me: tell yourself that you will remember your dream. Just try thinking about what kind of dreams you want to have. Imagine having them. Then turn out the light and let yourself drift off.

KARMA: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

When I started trying to remember my dreams, I'd journal first thing when I woke up. Sometimes it'd be some half asleep scribble, sometimes it'd be coherent, sometimes it was just a doodle, but the rules was "whatever your brain farts out first thing, no filter." Then later in the day, I'd go back and read what my brain farted out and I'd remember some if not most of my dream.

... should get back into doing that, actually, I got good material from my more vivid dreams :/a

Has anything changed for you healthwise? (Health, meds, supplemental vitamins?)

I remember dreams rarely (one week every three months, I'll remember a couple) unless I'm taking magnesium supplements, or now when I'm taking a med that has a side effect of vivid dreams. [1] Stuff can also go the other way round.

The other question, of course, is what you're hoping to get out of the dreamwork, and whether there's another approach that would get you enough of the same things that might be worth trying.)

[1] Last night's had a long complex thing that's hard to explain, and a pool with four orcas that had iced over so people fell in it. There are a lot of times I look at my dreams even when I remember them and go 'I am not sure that is actually helpful information, brain, but thanks, I guess?'

How do you tend to wake up? When I wake up to an alarm it's often jolting me out of my dreams, so I remember them a bit better (partly because I'm irritated that I didn't get to the ending). When I have full sleep cycles where I'm allowed to wake up on my own I tend not to remember them as often.
