2019 Donation Drive

It's time for our annual Server Donation Drive! We need to raise at least $650 (same as last year) to keep The Cauldron's server online for another year. Please help! Either hit that Paypal button to the right and make a one-time donation in any amount or set up a monthly Bronze, Silver or Gold Donor subscription. You can find more info in this message!

Donations as of 16 Sept 2019: $660 donated. $10 more our minimum goal! Let's beat last year's total of $99 more than the minimum!

Note: This total is updated manually, usually once a day

* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Hello all!

My first question; why magic? I can't seem to get a firm grasp on it. Love spells seem immoral, money spells greedy, and curses- .............

Somebody confuses magick and sorcery. Real magick is a high spiritual science, not an enchantment someone or something.
High magic is a spiritual transformation of a man.

Well now I wonder if we aren't confusing "real" and "high" magic - unless you're defining "real" as something other than existing, which low magic most certainly does. Would you mind clarifying your point so I can be sure I'm understanding you correctly?

Oh, this rodeo again.

Pfft, as if. We all know he got it from the Atlantean aliens just like the Egyptians and Mesoamericans.

If you want my honest opinion and you are looking for something "safe" then wicca etc would be more appropriate. When it comes to high magic it is about taking responsibility for your actions. So for example if someone is bullying you and I don't mean high school level. I mean bullying in the adult world where you have tried every possible action snd they still won't back don't then some might consider a mild temporary hex to teach the person a lesson. You will always have to pay the price for it though. So its using your better judgement and figuring out if it's worth it or not.  You should not be messing around in the high occult if you have not learnt the basics anyway. Wicca whilst being a religion is handy for that kind of thing because it is structured and less complicated than studying the occult as a whole. Sounds like you need to use baby steps.
