Does any one know of a fertility spell that helps one keep their fetus healthy until birth?

Someone I know can get pregnant, but has trouble staying pregnant. And they very much want to have a baby.

Nothing specific, unfortunately. Pershaps a spell for good health could be adapted to be aimed at a fetus?

What Stephy said... with an added word of caution to be very careful about focusing magical energies directly toward anyone whose health is precarious.  If you want to help, you might be better to do so indirectly - a blessed meal or charmed gift for their overall well-being, perhaps?

SPELL TO PREVENT MISCARRIAGE

"If you are having trouble carrying to term, use this spell in combination with your conception ritual. Begin by getting a sturdy piece of green rope (for growth). Tie one knot in it to represent the baby. Hold the rope gently in both hands and place it up against your heart and say, "Secured in my womb, a seed of love. There to grow and blossom until released by nature __months hence. Surrounded by safety, health, and wholeness you shall remain until this knot is undone." Fill in the blank with the number of months until your due date, then keep the rope bundled in a baby blanket.

When you go into labor, untie the knot at the hospital to release any pain and open the birth canal. This is similar to what many European midwives used to do. When delivering a baby, they opened every cupboard, button, and window so that labor would be swift"

Simple is a good thing in magic. Complexity often does not really add much to the result.

As another note: keep in mind that miscarriages often - though doubtless not always - mean that there is something wrong with the embryo/fetus, which means it's not viable. While I absolutely understand that it must be heartbreaking to lose a pregnancy - I've seen friends go through this, including one who lost several - I would be careful to form your spell work in such a way that you don't end up with a healthy pregnancy of a baby that's stillborn, or has little to no chance of long term survival.

I've heard that simple charms can be pretty effective. Someone I know has made them for couples trying to conceive, and they were successful. She said she just put some herbs in a sack, prayed over them, and gave them to the couple to keep by the bed or under the mattress. If nothing else, it helps the couple take the psychological pressure off themselves to let things happen more smoothly and naturally.

I would suggest herbs like basil, rose petals, and sunflower seeds in a sack made from green, dark brown or black fabric. Putting the herbs and seeds in a seashell is also a good idea, as they symbolize the relevant lady parts. Then I would ask for the blessings of goddesses like Isis, Aphrodite, Demeter, Freyja, etc. on the charm, and keep it somewhere near the where you want to conceive, but out of sight and conscious thought.

well theres a spell, its healing crystal magick

it requires:

 a white candle and two light blue candles
all spice or rosemary , or any other type of healing incense
paper with the name of the recipient
and a small quartz crystals


you put the candles at your altar in a semi circle, the white candle between the blue ones the paper in the center of the layout with the crystal on top.
center yourself and light the incense, breathing in the scent as you think of dispelling the ill health from the person, and being replaced by healing energy. Gather the energy, and when you feel ready release the energy, and direct it through the crystal to the recipients name.

I'm certainly no expert on healing spells. I've been known to say that I can't heal a paper cut! But, I do know a bit about magic in general and I have another note of caution for you.

I'm not one of those people who believes that healing energy goes where it's needed, fixes problems all on it's own without any direction, and is all good all the time. I think it's important to know why your friend is having trouble staying pregnant. If you don't know what's going wrong, how can you fix it? There's a really good chance that poking at stuff randomly could make the problem worse.

For example. If your magic is focused on keeping the fetus in there, healthy and growing, but the problem is maybe with her uterus, or cervix or something, you could be setting up a situation where she miscarries much further into her pregnancy. Which could be really dangerous (not to mention heartbreaking) for her.

I'm not saying don't do anything at all. But maybe start with a doctor. Find out why she's been having trouble, then focus on healing that issue.
