None of those work to protect others.

The first two on the list will work just fine. Just rewrite the words to refer to who you want to protect instead of "I", "me", etc.

The person I was referring to is indeed Ron Paul.

To be blunt his chance of winning the general election is just slightly higher than my chance (and I'm not running), so I don't think he has much to worry about in the assassination department. However, there are loons everywhere so a protection spell certainly would not hurt. I can't stand the man (and haven't been able to since I shared an elevator with him at a hotel many years ago), but I don't know anyone who wants him dead.

Well that sounds like a story worth hearing.

Well that sounds like a story worth hearing.

A small SF convention was sharing a hotel with the Texas Libertarian party convention (I think the year he ran as a Libertarian party candidate for President but might be wrong therre). I shared an elevator with him and other Libertarian convention attendees several times. They all smoked (against the law) and some would make fun of people they were sharing the elevator with where were allergic to smoke or who otherwise asked them to obey the law and not smoke on the elevator. I can't remember if Paul actually participated in making fun of people coughing because of their smoke (once including an old man who could barely breathe without smoke), but he certainly said nothing to his fellow party members who were.

This convinced me more than anything else that I'd rare be dead than vote for or support anyone who ran as a Libertarian or had the support of the Libertarian party. I would not want any group so self-centered that they think they right to smoke not only trumps other people's right to breathe but that they have the right to make fun of those suffering from their behavior (to their faces yet) or who dare to ask them to stop it.

I don't know how you can say this, considering he's been doing good in the polls, the media just doesn't like to report it. There hasn't been another candidate that would be willing to audit the federal reserve.

By chance do the same people who control the media control the banks?  Because I know I read something about that in Mr. Paul's newsletter.

He's doing very well (now) in the polls of likely Republican PRIMARY voters. A few weeks ago, it was someone else, a few weeks before that yet someone else. Etc. Republican hard-liners love him, but he would not stand a chance in the general election. He'd be the Republican party's McGovern.
