2017 Donation Drive -- Please Help Keep TC Online

It's time for our annual Server Donation Drive! We need to raise just over $850 to keep The Cauldron's server online for another year. Please help! Either hit that Paypal button to the right and make a one-time donation in any amount or set up a monthly Bronze, Silver or Gold Donor subscription. You can find more info in this message!

Donations as of 16 September: Only $296 more (after Paypal fees) needed to reach our goal! Please donate if you can.

* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Surfacing again
« on: July 14, 2017, 04:23:52 pm »
Hi.  I was a long term member here, and then health and life conspired.  And I also found I didn't have the patience to deal with some things on the board.  My health is now good, and I have some time to spare, so I'm hanging out again.

I'm almost 60, female, work as an accountant, and live in the Pacific Northwest of the US.  I brew my own beer, mead, and wine.  I sew.  I have a massive garden (20 beds, 4ft by 30 ft each) that is largely vegetables and herbs.  And a husband who does the little things like rototill my garden, lift 5 gallon carboys of beer/wine/mead, and generally make himself useful.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

Hi there! I just had to stop in and say...YUM! I'm jealous that you brew your own boozy beverages! I have never gotten into it myself but have always been intrigued  :)

It's work, but I enjoy it and the end product.  My blackberry wine (from wild blackberries) is IMHO absolutely awesome.  My favorite!!

Tap on the post you want to reply to, then click the little curved-to-the-left arrow that pops up on the top bar. Assuming the screenshot posts, I circled it in red.

This is also assuming that either you also have Android like me, or the app is the same across phone platforms.
