Hi, I'm Inca, female, from the Netherlands and just a bit over 30. I got here (or actually on the old beehive) when I was looking into wicca - wicca never stuck (nor realy any other religion) but the board did. I consider myself agnostic - and today at the book store I found out I should just look into humanism a bit more. I don't have cats, children, a significant other or a garden.

I'm Darkhawk.  For better or worse, I was Darkhawk before.

I'm an Egyptian neo-recon, a student in the Feri tradition, attend a Unitarian Universalist church except when I don't, and doing a  irritating roll-your-own religious practice with one foot in the lore, one foot in my training, and one foot in really frustrating hardcore mysticism.

I'm a mother, a writer, a potter without a studio, and really kind of a mess right now, so whatever.  That's what you get for intro.

Hi, all! I am, or used to be and mostly remain, Ali. I've changed my username here to my full name (and updated my signature with link to my author website) - or what will be my full name legally in two months once I'm married... but which I'm already using as a nom de plume for my writing... ANYway, hello!

I haven't been on TC for all that long, about a year and a half. But it's probably the best Pagan forum I've had the pleasure to be involved with, so I'm hoping to stick around for a long time to come!

Because I'm lazy, I'm just going to copy-paste the author bio from my website by way of introduction:

Alison Leigh Lilly grew up a shy Irish Catholic hippie girl, exploring the woods and fields surrounding her childhood home with the same curiosity and enthusiasm she would later bring to her studies of mysticism and nature spirituality. Seeking the spiritual heritage of her Celtic ancestors, she discovered poetry and story, mud and blood mingled with the scent of peat fires and the slick feel of damp stone. Eventually, these interests landed her squarely in the round hole of Academia, where she graduated valedictorian of her class, humbly accepted her degree, and ran for it.

She now resides in the lovely, thrice-rivered city of Pittsburgh, where she lives on the edge of a wooded park with her partner, her cat, her pet frogs and her houseplants. She devotes her time to cultivating a spiritual life founded on peace, poesis, and attentive engagement with the inner and outer landscapes of wildness, wilderness and nature. She explores these themes through essays, articles and poetry, and her work has appeared in a number of publications both in print and online.

I'm Stardancer here, I was Stardancer there. Name chosen for my only lifetime interest come hobby come occasional profession - astrology.

I grew up with an atheist dad and a mum who claims interest in catholisism, but I suspect it's mostly an interest in the associated historical art and architecture. I was confirmed Protestant - then went back to the woods a week later to look for fairies.

My first exposures to witchcraft were a danish book by Dannie Druehyld (nordic folklore and herblore) and later Starhawk's Spiral Dance. I took classes with a Wiccan coven in Norway, but we figured I knew too much to benefit from a neophyte degree, and then they forgot about my request for a 1. degree for so long I figured it wasn't to be... In the mean time I started an informal circle with the other neophytes instead, had Gaia thwap me upside the head over my depression, got a husband, a cat, two kids (not necessarily in that order), initiated a relationship with Pan which has grown from flirting to flaming (but Mom is still first), had more or less temporary relationships with other deities, and now consider myself entirely un-wiccan, but very definitely devoted.

And I still do charts for money. I have an IT degree, but never got a job in that field, so I now sell fish, meat and deli at a grocery store, and search desperately for work that will suit my body, my family, my finances and my soul somewhat better.

I've sniffed at Ordo Rosea Aura, but got disillusioned with the local group, and have just started BOTA's correspondence course in western occultism. So far interesting.

Sorry, not so quick, :D

I'm Nehet, known as Nehet on the SMF forum which I joined in 2008.  The name means "Sycamore tree".  To me that represents a force of life-giving strength that I seek to channel through ritual and magic.

I was raised in two denominations of very formal Catholicism (Byzantine and Tridentine).  Monotheism didn't work for me but I never lost my love of formal ritual.  I was in an eclectic Wicc-ish circle for years but something was missing.  I finally discovered Kemetic spirituality and felt very at home.

I'm a devotee of Ausir (Osiris), Djehuty and Nebet-het.   I'll be Ausir's priestess once I can finish Best Statue Ever and a lot of other ritual tools.  Death/renewal cycles are a recurring theme on my path and I am ridiculously fascinated with the Book of Night (as some of you know).   Currently I have my own small temple.  I also do presentations and workshops in the Denver area.

When I'm not insanely busy with temple stuff and classes, I do artwork, hiking, biking and spending time with my kitties :)
See, life is but a movement of eternal return.  Even Trees fall ~ Berlin papyrus 3024, (A man tired of life).

Live, Ausir, for all time and all eternity! Ankh Neheh Djet!

Hello again,
My Name on the other forum is Chakabe (It matches my birth number) as well as on here.
I joined just the other day. (Actually I have no idea if that means I am an "Active" member or not)
Well here is the basics:
I'm 20 years old.
I live in pottstown PA.
I'm looking for a coven
I am studying basic witchcraft with the idea of moving into druidry soon after. Yes I know the "Original" druids died out around the same time as the Jedi (I know...I'm kidding) They died out except for a few scriptures here and there from times of old. Hardly enough to write home about. but something has been calling me almost like a pulling on what I can only guess would be a string of my soul something just...tells me to learn it...to be it...

Dunno if I count as 'active', but I did join the old board a few months ago and have been lurking ever since. My display name is the same.

I'm mostly agnostic though I think I may have recently been 'thwaped'. I probably won't participate much because it's hard for me to organize my thoughts into any sort of cohesiveness and I'm shy besides. :\

I don't think much anyone "knew" me, since I had only been a member for about a day, but I will copy/paste from my first introduction into here:

Quote from: GhiaDominick

I used to be (somewhat) involved in pagan spirituality for about five years or so when I was younger. It helped me to deal with some stuff I was going through at the time. But a few years ago I became very busy, and didn't need any other reasons to be "strange" to other people, so I dropped the whole thing. I still kept my basic foundation, but I didn't practice. I skipped "church" for three years, so I have forgotten quite a bit.

I've missed it.

So, it's time to re-research and get involved again.

Hello, everyone! This is Ellen M. from the old board - I'm testing out the new pseudonym "Sage" for myself. I'll respond to either name. :)

I'm walking a Druid path and getting really interested in "green" spirituality (both in the eco-friendly sense and the getting-closer-to-nature sense). I'm a devotee of Brighid and a member of an eclectic Wiccan coven. I'm also a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church with intentions of attending UU seminary after college. I'm also really interested in Daoism, Zen and Tibetan Buddhism, and some forms of Hinduism. Yes. I collect religions like Pokemon cards. ;D

In other news, I love fantasy and sci-fi (Doctor Who all the way, I'm just saying) and unashamedly write and read fanfiction for a variety of fandoms. I also love to cook and make jewelry; the latter passion is turning into a business that will debut at my town's Pagan Pride Day this coming October.

...give a quick Intro.

Hi. *waves* I joined The Cauldron in September of '09. I was originally known as Kemet, but changed my name to Sekhemib-Nymaatre sometime mid-last year. It was with the switch to the new board that I decided to go with another change and here I am: SatSekhem. It means something along the lines of "daughter of the powerful one." I'm able to be a little ambiguous with the name change, but also still honor Sekhmet.

Biographically speaking, I'm a big bore. I live in Springfield, MA. I work at a gas station as a "team leader," IE manager. I love my job and I'm really good at it, which, considering my acerbic nature, is genuinely surprising. I am in a long-term relationship with the father of my child, whom I mostly refer to as The Hubby. My son, Rowan, is three-years-old and the bane of my existence. He's cute, though, so that's why I keep him. I am also mother to two miniature Dachshunds: a red 14-year-old named Sweet Pea who is in the winter of her existence, sadly and a blue 5-year-old named Jasmine who suffers from genetic defects making her unbreedable but a conversation piece. I read. A lot. Like... a lot. I am obsessed with ancient Egypt, Czar-ist Russia, and campy Sci-Fi TV shows, like SeaQuest and Stargate.

Religiously speaking, I'm kind of boring there, too. I was baptized Catholic, but raised as a Methodist. I went atheist when I hit the teenage years because, you know, who doesn't nowadays? Of course, I would like to point out that I was emo before it was cool. :p I don't have a specific path at the moment, but I've been a witch, a Wiccan, a pagan, a Kemetic pagan, an eclectic pagan, a Kemetic reconstructionist, and a Kemetic revivalist. One day, I'll be able to answer the "what religion are you" question, but not today.

Hi Ellen!  I was wondering who this "Sage" was who requested membership in the "Doors of the Sky" group.   Now I am much less confused ;)  Good to have you aboard.

Define 'active'...
Anyways, I was "AudrianNikole" on SMF, and am not even entirely sure what Beehive was (and thus was not on it). I read the SMF forums at least every other day, though I don't post much. Most of my questions I can find answers to with a 'search' function ;)
About me...uhm, barely 20, living with a rat named Diana and a weenie dog/shi tzu mix named Humphrey. Engaged. Working as a cashier at the real-world Buy'n Large, and going to school for business management as of August.
Religiously, still getting my feet wet, trying to figure out what I believe, who I'll follow, etc, so on, and so forth.
There be dragons here ♥

Hi, everyone! I was Selegna on SMF, I've changed my name to IceAngie here, because it's the name I use on the internet these days.

I've been on TC since october of 2007 (I think). I didn't have a lot of posts though, because my native language is not English and most of the time things are hard to put into words for me. I'm guessing I'll lurk more than post here too.

I'm 30 years old, recently graduated as a Chemistry Teacher, working on a secondary school for at least two more weeks, hopefully will start studying Chemistry (for lab work) at the university in August. I'm engaged, don't have kids but have two dogs and a cat. One of my dogs is a black labrador, for that reason I chose the black labrador avatar on SMF and am using it here too, at least for a while.

I use to say I don't have a religion, but I have gods and goddesses. I'm away from worship and spiritual practice lately, but I used to worship Hera, Brighid and Loki. I've been everything from Catholic to fluffy Wiccan to Satanist to Norse Recon (not nessesarily in that order), but I don't feel I belong in any religion right now. I'm interested in FlameKeeping though, and I keep a blog where I translate HeartShadow's essays to Spanish.

And I think that's it. :)

Hi, I am Castus and was known as such on the old boards. I'm in my teens and am currently struggling through paganism. I'm studying the Religio Romana and consider myself to be a cultist of Julius Caesar.
