New and Searching

Hello Everybody,

My name is LuciusW and I am new to this forum (well forums in general). I'm from a small rural town in Central Pennsylvania just north of Harrisburg.

I just started my journey down the Wiccan path because I got an internal calling to travel down this path. I have started reading "Wicca A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" in which I am learning a bunch of information but I want to learn more. I was hoping to join this forum to learn from others where reading and researching by myself might fall short.

Sorry if this post is very vague I apologise, like I said I am new to this and do not know how to start off or continue.

Welcome! You've come to a treasure trove of information and fun people to learn from. There are tons of posts that have good information if you want to read through those. The archive has MORE topics if you need further reading. And I'm sure there are research threads somewhere, I honestly haven't looked for them in a great deal of time

Feel free to join the Discord chat too! Lots of fun conversation in real time if you need to break up the "phone tag" feel forums can sometimes generate.

Welcome! I remember one of the first Wiccan Books I ever purchased. It was also by Scott Cunningham: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. I ultimately ended up in a very different place, but I remember that book with nostalgia. Some of those early pagan books meant a lot to me when I was younger. Even as a Slavic polytheist, I sometimes find some of the central Wiccan concepts like the triple Goddess jumping out at me from folklore and fairy tales. It's not unusual to read about three Baba Yagas, or three daughters who turn into doves to fetch the golden apples.
