If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Hello from the blustery Canadian Prairies
« on: June 28, 2012, 09:25:11 am »
Hello everyone.  I'm glad to have found these forums and look forward to getting to know people and learning from their experiences.  I guess a little about me is in order as an introduction.

From the time I was small, my mother described me as the girl with her mind in the cloud, head in the trees, feet in the dirt and daisies in her hair.  I was never the girly girl.  I was always outside in the dirt, digging holes, making fairy gardens, picking dandelion’s to bring home and talking to flowers – I wish I remembered our conversations.

Over the past several years, a series of unfortunate events sent me searching for spiritual answers and understanding.  Ultimately, it has lead me here: a pagan path, one that’s a mix of so many of the sects of paganism beliefs that I struggle to put a ‘denomination’ on the path I’m trying to follow.  This is all becoming part of the ‘genuine life’ I’m trying to put myself in, something that feels natural to me, even when my farm is parked smack in the middle of GMO territory, I figure I do what I can in my small space, with my small animals; I think it plays a big part.  Movement requires a step to be made; even if only one person makes a step.

I think I've been combating the evil eye for much of my life and have been searching out a talisman to abate the eye, but they seem to be scarce in these parts.  I may resort to ordering one off the web.

I'm new to druidry, actual practices/rituals as well as an amateur at spell-casting as I surely haven't managed to cast a spell correctly yet.  I'm just getting back into meditation and I'm interested in re-learning to read energy, contact the spirits of plants, animals and objects as well as attract positive abundance into my life.

Thanks for reading.  All the best.

Sweets.

Hello ! I just joined this forum today too. I too can not define which path I am following. All I know is that the natural world helps and comforts me in a way that some people may find from other religions.
