Hello from a lurker!

Hello, everyone!

I am actually a long, long, looooong time lurker.  Recently I have been feeling the bug to comment on posts and realized I have never introduced myself!  I could have sworn I made a small post when I joined but... nope... I don't seem to have any posts~  Well, today I am remedying that! 

Hi! I'm Preyna!

So, firstly, I do believe in an ultimate, Supreme God that embodies more of a yin/yang principle.  I am foremost a Christian, more specifically, a follower of Christ and his teachings of love and compassion.  I personally feel that many of these simple, original teachings have become perverted and twisted through the centuries, creating a hubristic culture of divisiveness and self-righteousness. 

I am also a very spiritually minded individual.  I grew up around spiritual understanding and the "supernatural".  I believe that all things have energy and most things or beings have a spirit/soul.  I acknowledge great beings, gods, do exist but I do not worship them, although I have been known to give them some of my deepest regard and respect.  For this reason I most likely fall under Christo-Pagan, but because I do not worship other deities I have often held back from that status.

I am always interested in learning just about anything and I have enjoyed reading the posts here at The Cauldron for all the wonderful insights everyone has presented through the years.  And I do love how it is welcoming to people of all faiths. 

I will say I hope to start engaging in some of the discussions around the forum.  I'm a terrible lurker, but I will try~!

Thank you both very much for the warm welcomes! 

On a side note, I realized I didn't explain how I'm a "long time lurker", oops!  Many years ago I stumbled on TC looking for insights into some questions I had.  I have a habit of not signing up for a site immediately... so I never created an account.  Then, I finally got around to making one but came up with a random name.  IRL got busy, so I didn't visit for a few years.  When I came back, I couldn't remember the account I made!  I've not yet remembered or figured out what it was, but a couple years ago made this account.
