Energy, Fairies, Magic, and Life on the road

Hi Everyone!

I took a very long round-about way to finding my true path. However, now that I am on it, it has been a lovely adventure.

Like many, I ended up misdirected from my natural magical inclinations to be part of Christianity. I am not unhappy about this, those years in that church did prove useful and served a purpose.

My husband and I however are now out of the broom closet and embracing our new pagan spirituality. He is on a Shamanistic path and I lean more toward Green Witch/Druidess. I like working with energy and healing with Reiki.

To pay the bills we drive around the country in a big truck and get paid for it. And when I have a few minutes of peace and quiet, I like to write novels. Been published, just not selling enough to quit the day job.

Looking forward to being an active part of this community. :lub::thup:

Someone told me once that our previous experiences serve as compost for our spiritual development. :) So definitely every turn along the path serves a purpose of sorts. Welcome to TC and it's good to meet you.

Traveling the country sounds pretty cool, but it also sounds kind of stressful. How does it feel? Anyways, welcome to the forums from another newbie! :D:

That completely makes sense. I do see that connection.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. :lub:

Well, I admit, some places are pretty stressful. Not fun driving tractor and trailer through narrow streets of Philadelphia during business day. Nope not at all.

But driving the scenic highways for hundreds of miles along Wyoming, Montana, and Utah and feeling the energy from the mountains and desert? Watching a full moon rise in the horizon? Seeing a bald eagle flying in the wild? Makes me utterly thankful that I have a job I truly love.

Thank you for such a sweet welcome!
