Hi, my name's Rachel, I live in Minnesota and am soon to be a college student. I've always been very curious about pagan religions, but am unsure if I'm able to commit to one or not. I was raised without any form of religion, I tried being Christian because of my friends at school but found that none of my prayers were answered and didn't feel it was right for me. I don't know if I believe in any God. I find it come more naturally to me to pray to the spirits of trees and bodies of water and such. Also when I was a child I used to worship dragons, and that felt very natural to me. I've also had several powerful dreams about the greek and norse gods and goddesses. I meditate frequently, and I used to try to do spells but none of them worked. Basically my issue with faith is that my life has gotten steadily worse no matter what I try to do. I know I feel at peace when I am with nature though. Is nature-worship the same as paganism? Anyways, thanks to anyone who reads this little rant, advice is much appreciated.

Welcome! :]
Instead of trying to focus on one solid "religion" I find it helps (especially in paganism where there are so many) to study all of them, and sort of take elements that I can connect with. I don't worship all of the God's but I am very intune with nature, and the world around me. If you believe in one thing but not another, that's okay!
Hope that made sense!

Welcome to the Cauldron!

And nature-worship is a form of paganism, but not all paganism is nature-worship. :)

Hi there, and welcome to The Cauldron from a therian who happily belongs to Anpu!  To answer your question, nature-worship is a sort of paganism, I suppose.  However, not all pagans are nature-worshipers.  If you ever feel like talking to someone, feel free to shoot me a PM anytime!  I hope that you enjoy your stay and that you find what you seek, and I'll see you around the forums!  *chirps*  :3
<3 Rest in peace, Christiana. I love you so much, and I miss you like crazy already. At least you\'re not hurting anymore...May you ascend. <3
