Those I live with would think I'm a "whack-job" for believing in the Greek gods.

Privacy is non-existent where I live with exception of my bedroom.  Outdoor worship is a near impossibility.  And the few chances I get are usually ruined by swarms of mosquitoes and/or someone coming home unexpectedly.

That first one so very much.

It drives me up a wall when people confuse deities and practices from two very different paths.

I started a blog. Feel free to peruse. It's still in it's early stages and I have to write more, so do bare with me if it's all a little basic so far.

My grandma saw my pentacle and asked why I'm wearing a "Jewish star." On two separate occasions. I said it's a pentacle and she gave me a dirty look. My mom said "it's just a phase." The first time was when I was 16. The second time was two years ago, when I was 19. Both times, same responses from both of them.

That second one so very much. Also, a lack of people who don't have a revisionist history closely tied to what they believe irritates me.

What are yours?

Too many books, not enough money.

Too many books, not enough time to read.

This too.

All the books in the Pagan section are about Wicca.
All the mythology books are either Greek or Celtic and I'm looking for Egyptian.

Too many books, not enough bookcases.

After a deep clean and chucking out session (not books!) I have found a load more books that were stuffed into drawers and boxes because I have no space. Now I have a few piles of books on the floor. Got to get a new bookcase soon so bye bye money. On the plus side, I'll have somewhere to put the books which are currently in boxes in the attic. (Planning on getting a ceiling to floor bookcase because floor space is getting very limited so I've got to start going higher. )

Seconded though I can't say I've ever had that second problem.

Of course there's always the problem of trying to find reconstructionist texts amid all the syncretic ones. I'm an eclectic, but I like to know how things are in their particular context.
