I don't have any clever reasons for my choice (the fourth).  I just like it for it's positioning.

I'm amused because the one I picked ended up being the most popular one.  Now I almost want to do some kind of study on which option people tend to pick if they're all the same.  Second from the bottom?  But why? :confused:

For me, it was a case of scale more than number.  If there had been 20 options, I'd probably have chosen the 16th.  I'd have been drawn to the 15th, but reject it as too precise.  I just like those proportions.  Where the line between second and last third falls.  

On second though, I'll posit that it comes from the same place that makes us like the golden ratio, rather than strict 3rds.

I hadn't voted before (dunno why; I was amused, I just didn't join in), so, in light of the convo about why people choose which one, I looked first at the results, and then picked the second one because it was falling behind.

With the number of multi-trad people around here?  Multiple descriptors was practically required.

Personally, I'm with Koi regarding the ubiquitous "other."  When people have a limited option, there tends to be more discussion about variances within a catagory.  There are always qualifiers.
